"Fools rush in" - Elvis Presley -
Scott slowly awoke to the quiet pitter-patter of rain on his face, and than he quickly awoke when a squirrel bit him on the knuckle. At that same instance a troupe of traveling gypsies stopped and the groups doctor checked him for rabies, and thankfully he came up negative. (It should be noted that the so-called "doctor" recieved his diploma from the University of Florida State, and therefore was not to be held in very, should I say, "high esteem".)
"Lost be thee" said the groups leader (he was old fashion, or maybe just a pirate pretending to be a gypsie so that he could travel the world and have many adventures... don't know where I was going with that... sorry!) "Me and all these that ye see before thee are me relatives, arrhh! And we'd be more the merryer if yed join wit us as we will have many a grand adventure!"
Now Scott was in quite a pickle... Join the gypsies or stay lost?
"I'd love to join you merry people!" came his quick reply as if he hadn't even put thought into the answer.
"Than lets be off"
As the group moved through the wood dancing and singing, (that is to say shortly that they were dancing the can-can to John Mayer's "Your Body Is A Wonderland") Scott stoped short, for he had heard a crash off to his port side, deep in the darkening wood. "We must investigate" came his cry, "There could be someone else out there who is lost!"
"O, we do not stray off the path into the untamed wood" came the reply from the groups leader. His voice had the sound of fear in it. "You were just lucky that you had come across the path, otherwise you would never have been found. If there be someone out yonder than they must help themselves for we cannot." With that the troupe picked up the singing and dancing once again and they continued on.
Scott, though scared, was determined to discover the object behind the noise.
Without another word he dashed into the thicket, never to be seen by the pirate gypsies again.
