"Do you believe in love at first sight?" -some cheesy chick flick-
"I could have sworn that the noise came from this direction!", thought Scott as he preesed on through the brush. He'd been tracking the sound he'd heard for a good half-an-hour, but his progress had been put on hold a few times. The first time he was put on hold by a Verizon Wireless representative, and the second time it was a group of traveling mormans, and he had to hide in a tree.
He was now walking along side a huge cliff, and he alowed himself a quiet chuckle as he thought about a line from his favorite Beatles flick, "white cliffs of Dover?"
As these memories passed through his nogin, he triped over what he thought was a branch. Looking back he saw that it was in fact not a branch, but a Remington Sawed-off-Shotgun. This seemed odd, he was quite sure that when Bruce was sucked into the portal, that he took the gun with him!
As he stooped to pick it up he received a quick shot to the ribs.
"Hey, what do you think you're doing? That's mine"
Scott, looking up saw the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen. She was like an angel... an angel with a powerful kick who carried a Remington.
"I'm sorry", his words came with pain, "I didn't know it was anyone's!"
"Yea...I'm sorry too, I shouldn't have kicked you...but, I just...well I'm lost and..", her words became tears.
"That's ok, I'm lost as well, but now I think that I can get us out of here, I saw a path back a ways. Oh, and by the way, my name is Scott, what's your's"
"Angelina."
"Your...", wonder filled his eyes, " ...your not Angelina... Jolie?"
"No, my last name's Crum!"
"Oh,...", Scott breathed a sigh of relief, "...I am so relieved, that's why I breathed a sigh of relief. If you were Jolie... well than my sister-in-law whold have to stop reading my posts." (not you Jess, the other sister-in-law)

I must say Nate, this is the best part of the story so far... keep it flowing (and make it end soon!) - JK
believe it or not Nate, I think you have great potential, but like me in something either than writing short stories. However, I do still enjoy readin yours and everyone elses posts, even Jess's.
