I'd like to say, "Sweet", but I simply don't remember any of this. Wish I did. But, it is pretty sweet.

Haha Nate. I wish we could all go back as a family and see what the 'Island' looks look now. The road this guy drives down is Walnut Ave. Our house is the two-story yellow house just before the blue house. Some great memories for me.

Look to the right as the car turns the corner at the 1:02 mark. Our house is the two story yellow. You see it best at about 1:14. As he continues down the road, look to the left from the 2:00 mark. This is the park where all the bunkers are. They're in the new movie about L. Ron Hubbard. Finally, as the car begins to turn the curve at 2:26, that's where St. Peter's chapel is--or was it St. Stephen's? You can't see it unfortunately. It was in a lovely wooded area at the far end of all the Captains' homes (the big ones on the right in the blocks after our house). I wonder why the driver didn't tilt the camer slightly right (or left) so that our view was less road and more scenery!
I've looked at several other Mare Island touring videos in this same series--all filmed the same rainy day--and I am shocked by how little of the island I actually saw when we lived there! I didn't know there were so many massive office buildings.
