Some of my favorite video games made this list, although I didn't see my two all-time favorites "Wings of Fury" and "Blades of Steel." What about you? What games are on your list?
The problem with lists so often is with the authors. I think that the Time magazine staff included the influential games of the last 40 years or so, but not necessarily the best. While Halo made the list, Halo 3 (which I believe was the most enjoyable experience) didn’t make the cut. You could argue that there would be no Halo 3 without the original, but the same could be said for the Grand Theft Auto series. I must admit that I looked at the list as a whole (separated by decades) so I’m not sure where each game was ranked. If Goldeneye for the N64 wasn’t #1 then the list is flawed immediately.
